Atelier Brückner designed an exhibit for the KTM Motohall on behalf of KTM, which was then realized by 17K. I contributed to the design and functionality of 18 display stations on their behalf.
A motorcycle rides through a projected landscape. Viewers can observe the motorcycle's behavior on 18 displays and choose between different riding scenarios. Sensor readings on the motorcycle are displayed live on the screens, depending on the riding situation.
Each sensor transmits different values and units. Therefore, I first developed a uniform, recognizable design for the display.
All sensor screens are controlled from a console. To make this possible, a Raspberry Pi application was needed that starts automatically when the devices are switched on and waits for a corresponding scene from the user console. When the user switches scenes at the console, the values on the sensor screens seamlessly transition to the new scene.
